n.任务;事业
例:A dinner party for thirty people is a large undertaking.
30人的晚宴可是一项大工程。

underwater
adj.在水下的,在水中的
例:Atlantis became an underwater city after it was completely flooded.
亚特兰蒂斯彻底淹没后,成为一个水下城市。

undo
v.解开,松开;使恢复原状;取消,抹掉
例:He undid his shoelaces and took his shoes off before walking inside.
他解开鞋带,脱下鞋,然后走了进去。

unearth
vt.发掘,挖出;揭露;发现
例:The digging of the scientists unearthed a buried city.
科学家们的挖掘发现了一座被埋葬的城市。

unfair
adj.不公平的
例:The defendant argued with the judge that the decision was unfair.
被告与法官辩论,称判决不公平。

unmatched
adj.无可匹敌的
例:The company's record sales this month were unmatched by any of its competitors.
该公司本月的唱片销量是其任何一个竞争对手都无法匹敌的。

unpack
v.打开包裹
例:She unpacked her clothes from her suitcase when she arrived at the hotel room.
她到了酒店房间后,便从行李箱里取出自己的衣服。

unprecedented
adj.前所未有的,空前的
例:George's consumption of 10677 hot dogs was unprecedented;no one had ever eaten so many before.

unravel
v.弄清楚;拆开;解开;松开
例:The detective unraveled the mystery.
侦探解开了谜团。

unrestrained
adj.无限制的
例:The unrestrained pollution has prompted the government to spend billions of dollars for environmental protection.
无限制的污染促使政府投入数十亿美元用于环境保护。
